Monty Python's Life of Brian

Monty Python's Life of Brian (1979)
Genre: Comedy.
Released: 1979.
Director: Terry Jones.
Monty Python's second film is an iconoclastic satire targeting both religion and the Hollywood stereotypes found in biblical films. Judea, A.D. 33 e., a period of poverty and chaos. The only surplus is the various types of prophets who quickly find loyal followers. Desperate, the Romans are trying to restore order.
In the middle of these events is Brian Cohen, who was born on the same night as Jesus and is not very willing to lead people like a prophet. However, due to a number of absurd and perverse circumstances, its popularity is growing significantly. Followers follow him, giving him no respite - even when he demands privacy. Although Brian only wants to get rid of the obsessive fame, he gets into more and more trouble, and is ultimately sentenced to death by crucifixion.
Thus, all members of the Monty Python group have the ability to shine and simply surpass each other by playing multiple roles. They ridicule everyone and everything, from former lepers, Pontius Pilate, to the symbols of Christianity.
